HOW TO REACH THE CONFERENCE VENUE FROM MADRID AIRPORT

Underground (Subway): Line 8 will take you to Nuevos Ministerios metro station. From here there are 3 options:

1) by Bus (14 or 27) to Plaza de Neptuno, 5 min walk from the conference venue and most hotels;

2) by Cercanías train from Nuevos Ministerios station to Sol station (just one stop), 7 min walk from the conference venue and many of the hotels;

3) by Cercanías train to Atocha station (6 stops from Airport Terminal 4, and 2 stops from Nuevos Ministerios) 15 min walk from the conference venue and many hotels.

Special Shuttle Bus: Airport-Plaza de Cibeles, 8 min walking distance from the conference venue and many of the hotels.

Taxi from the Airport to the city center / everywhere in Madrid: 30€ (fixed price).

Discounted Train Travel

Renfe (Spain´s public train system) is offering conference participants a 5% discount, when travelling between May 30 and June 5, 2023.

To apply the conference discount when purchasing train tickets, follow the below steps:

1. Go to the Renfe website: www.renfe.com

2. Select the origin, destination, and dates of your travel.

3. Select the train of your choice by clicking on any of the available options (Básico (Basic), Elige (Pick & Mix Standard), Elige Confort (Pick & Mix Comfort) or Premium (Premium).

4. Once you have selected a train option, fill in your personal details.

5. In the fare drop-down menu, select the Conferences/Fairs fare.

6. In the box asking for an “authorization number,” enter the authorization number 052304506. (Note: This code is not valid for the “discount code” box).
