Archives of Jean Piaget

The Archives Jean Piaget (full name: Fondation des archives Jean Piaget) was created in 1974 by Bärbel Inhelder. It has a physical existence at the university of Geneva and the mission of collecting and cataloging all of Piaget works and secondary litterature (± 20’000 papers). The Archives Piaget conserves all the protocols of the experiments by the school of Geneva (100’000), the archives of the Center of genetic epistemology. From 2012, thanks to a convention with the Family Piaget, the Archives Piaget received the Donation famille Piaget, i.e. all the archival material found in the Villa Piaget: the personal library, the manuscripts, the correspondences of Piaget and his family, and of several members of the Geneva school. Part of this is accessible at https://ael.archivespiaget.ch/
