Directions to Doubletree Hotel Philadelphia

Driving

From Baltimore, Washington and points South of I-95 North: Take I-95 north past the Philadelphia International Airport following the signs directing to the Broad Street Exit (just past the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard). Take the Broad Street Exit going north and follow Broad Street for about three miles. The hotel will be on the right at the corner of Broad and Locust Streets.

From New York, New Jersey and points northeast via NJ turnpike: Take NJ Turnpike to exit 4 (Philadelphia/Camden Exit). Get onto 73 North and follow it to 38 West. Take 38 West following the signs directing to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge (the bridge id 30 West). Take 30 West crossing the bridge and take the 6th Street Exit going south off the bridge. Follow 6th Street to Spruce Street and make a right turn onto Spruce. Follow Spruce Street to Broad Street and make a right turn onto Broad Street. The hotel is just ahead on the right.

From New York, New Jersey and points east via I-95 South: Take I-95 South to I-676 West. Exit at the Broad Street exit, and turn left onto 15th Street. Follow 15th Street to Locust Street (approx. 7 blocks) and make a left turn onto Locust Street. The hotel is on the right at the opposite side of the intersection.

From Southern New Jersey and Atlantic City area: Take Atlantic City Expressway to 42 North. Following signs directing to the Walt Whitman Bridge, cross the bridge and take 76 West to Broad Street Exit North. Follow Broad Street about 3 miles. The hotel will be on the rights side at Broad and Locust Streets.

From Harrisburg, Hersey, and Points West: Take PA Turnpike going east to Exit 24 (Valley Forge). Get onto 76 East following the signs to Central Philadelphia. Take Center City Exit (I-676) to Broad Street Exit and make a right onto 15th Street. Follow 15th Street to Locust and make a left onto Locust Street. Go one block to Broad Street and the hotel is on the corner.

From Northeastern Pennsylvania: Take the Northeastern Extension which is Route 9 South to PA Turnpike. Follow the Turnpike going west to Exit #25 and get onto I-476 to I-76 Schuylkill Expressway East. Take I-76 to the Center City Exit (I-676). Follow I-676 to Broad Street Exit and make a right into 15th Street. Follow 15th Street to Locust Street and make a left onto Locust. Go one block to Broad Street and the hotel is on the corner.

Airport

There are three options to get from the airport to the DoubleTree Hotel:
  1. Taxi. Fare about $20.00
  2. Airport Shuttle Bus which delivers you directly to the hotel. Fare, about $8.00 per person. It may be advisable to reserve a place on the Shuttle Bus. (800-774-8885).
  3. The R1 train (Airport Express) from the airport to 30th Street Station (train station). One-way adult fare is $5.00. Trains leave the airport every 30 minutes.

Train

From 30th Street Station to DoubleTree Hotel
  1. Taxi. Fare about $5.00.
  2. Subway. Adult fare is $1.60. The subway is located at 30th and Market Street, on the right side of the street when you leave the station. Take the Market-Frankford line (the Blue Line) eastbound to 15th Street (City Hall) which is the next stop.

From City Hall to the DoubleTree Hotel

  1. You may switch to the Broad Street Line (Orange Line) subway at City Hall. Take the Broad Stree Line Southbound and exit at the next station (Walnut-Locust). Go to the "Locust Street" exit. The DoubleTree Hotel is at the intersection of Locust and Broad Streets.
  2. The walk from City Hall to DoubleTree Hotel is short, no longer than 5 minutes, and in most cases, more convenient than transferring subway lines. After leaving the subway, you are in City Hall, with four archways by which you can exit. Take the archway marked with the "South Broad Street" sign. Walk down Broad Street, across Chestnut Street and Walnut street (about 3 blocks). You will see the DoubleTree Hotel once you have passed Walnut. It is at the intersection of Broad and Locust.
