The conference will take place at the Gouverneur Hôtel Place Dupuis. Room rates are $129 Canadian/night for one or two people. If more than 2 people occupy a room, an additional $15 per person will be charged. To insure reservations from Canada or the US, reservations must be made before April 1, 2000 either by phoning 1-888-910-1111 (toll-free in Canada & US), or by FAX at (514) 842-1584. To insure reservations from outside Canada or the US, reservations must be made before April 1, 2000 by telephone at: (514) 842-4881 or by FAX at (514) 842-1584. When making reservations please be sure to state that you are making a reservation for "the Jean Piaget Society conference" or "la conférence de la Société Jean Piaget".

There is limited space reserved for conference registrants at the Hôtel Gouverneur so placement at the conference hotel is on a first come first served basis. If possible, alternate hotel placements will be made for reservations received by April 1, 2000.

A limited number of residence rooms are also available at the Université du Québec à Montréal, 303 René-Lévesque Blvd. East. A variety of room arrangements are available. Single rooms (with double beds) are $50 Canadian. Please call (514) 987-6669, extension 6000 to make room reservations. The university residences are just around the corner, a 5 minute walk from the conference hotel.

The hotel is a short walk from the central bus terminus. There are shuttle buses from Dorval airport to the central bus terminus every 20 minutes. Bus or taxi from the airport to the hotel takes about 20 minutes.
